This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other applicable law.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Mevinnest Enterprises Pvt Ltd is a company registered in India (GSTIN 09AASCM7865Q1Z2), with its registered office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. We sell kitchenware — insulated bottles, flasks, lunch boxes, and cookware — directly to consumers through this website under the mevinspire brand.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount generated by using the site:

• Account information — your email address (required to log in, whether by one-time code or password), and your name if you choose to provide it.
• Order and shipping information — name, phone number, and delivery address for each order, so we can ship it and generate your GST invoice.
• Order history — the products, quantities, and amounts of orders you place, and their payment/delivery status.
• Payment information — we do not collect or store your card, UPI, or net-banking details. Payments are processed directly by Razorpay, our payment gateway; we only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded and a reference ID.
• Cart contents — the items in your shopping cart, kept for the duration of your session so it's there when you come back.
• Essential cookies — small pieces of data stored in your browser to keep you logged in, remember your cart, and protect the site against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not currently run any third-party analytics or ad-tracking scripts on this site.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account, and to log you in via a one-time code or password sent to your email.
• To process, ship, and invoice your orders (including the GST tax invoice required by Indian law).
• To communicate with you about your orders — confirmations, payment receipts, and delivery updates.
• To respond to questions or requests you send us.
• To meet our legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and consumer-protection record-keeping requirements under Indian law.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any reason.

4. Who we share your information with

We share the minimum information needed with a small number of service providers who help us run this business:

• Razorpay — to process your payment. Razorpay receives your payment details directly; we never see or store them.
• Shiprocket (and the courier they assign your order to) — receives your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order.
• Our email provider — used only to send you order confirmations, receipts, and login codes.

We do not share your data with anyone else for marketing or advertising purposes. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or a valid request from a government authority.

5. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — passwords are never stored in plain text, login sessions use signed and hashed tokens, and our site is served over HTTPS. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active, and thereafter for as long as needed to meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations under Indian law (typically several years for financial records). You may ask us to delete your account at any time, subject to these legal retention requirements.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations (e.g. we must keep GST invoice records for the period required by tax law).
• Withdraw consent to stop any processing that relies on it, at any time.
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us (see Contact below), and if unsatisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we start using a new service provider or add a new feature that collects data. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
